MOMS
Club of Roanoke-East, VA
How To Get
Started
Email membership@roanokemomsclub.org. We’ll send you an introductory newsletter
and calendar, and answer your initial questions. PLEASE NOTE: MOMS Club of Roanoke East is one of several chapters in
the Roanoke area. Our chapter covers
the region east of I-581, including places like Vinton, Moneta, and Bonsack. If you need contact information for any
other MOMS Club chapter, please email MOMS Club International at momsclub@aol.com.
Include your zip code so they can direct you to the chapter in your
area. Monthly Meeting At our
monthly meeting you will get a sense of what the club does, hear about
current activities and meet many other moms.
There is also usually a guest speaker or discussion topic. You do not have to become a member in
order to attend your first or second meeting. Please contact our Membership VP and let her know to expect
you. She will be ready to welcome you
and can find a “meeting buddy” for you who will show you around and answer
your questions. Your children may
stay with you or play in the adjacent nursery under the supervision of other
moms. (If your child becomes fussy during
a meeting, we ask that you go with him into the children’s room until he has
quieted.) We meet on
the 2nd Thursday of every month: 9:30am -
doors open 10:00am -
meeting starts 11:00am -
